Our History 

Learning Depot has been serving Whitewater, WI and the surrounding areas since 1999.


Our center has capacity of 100 children, aged 1 month through 12 years. The location provides 8 classrooms in addition to a library, an indoor large motor room, a two-acre nature center, PLAY CITY dramatic play-town, a +2,600sqft sand pit, a splash water area. The more experiences we can provide to our young minds, the better.

Becca - Whitewater, WI - Learning Depot

Becca- Administrator/Director 

Providing Service for Learning Depot since 1999


I started in Early Childhood Education in 1986 by taking over my mom's family childcare. After I realized my knack for unconditional love of children while teaching them the skills to prepare them for school, I opened Learning Depot in 1999. By opening a group center, I was able to support more families in the Whitewater community while providing work experiences for teachers beginning a career in Early Childhood Education.

Hello, my name is Ms. Laurel, but the kids call me "Lolo"! I am the infant teacher & have been at Learning Depot since 2015. I love working with children and use my knowledge and experience with my own little one. I can't wait to get to know your little one & family too!

Mr. John - Whitewater, WI - Learning Depot

Mr. John - School Prep / Summer Adventure Club

Greetings, I am Mr. John, and I will be guiding your children through their time in the Preschool/School-Age class. I am from central Wisconsin and moved to Whitewater in 2012 for college where I graduated with a degree in Education. I started working at Learning Depot in 2017. It is my goal to have your children prepared and confident when entering grade school and being involved in their community! Students in my classroom will spend a lot of time learning outdoors.

Hello, my name is Tiffani Johansen and I am 24 years old. I Graduated from The University of Wisconsin Whitewater, where I studied Elementary Education with an Adaptive Education minor! I have been working at Learning Depot since March 2019 and it has helped me grow into a stronger teacher and has allowed me to learn new things every day!

I started working at Learning Depot in September of 2014 and I absolutely love it here! Before Leaning Depot, I worked at a daycare in Louisiana. I also ran my own home center for 2 years. I have lots of experience with every age group! I like working with the infants, because I love to watch how much they learn and grow. It happens so fast! It’s so much fun watching them grow their personalities and learn new things every day!
